Normal Campaign Guide Mission 3: Max Attacks! ![]() Player: Max (Orange Star) Enemy: Lash (Black Hole) Terms: Rout the enemy or capture their Headquarters The game will introduce the Black Bomb here, which will do 5 damage to units within a 3 by 3 diamond radius. Anyway, you want to spread out your copters across the sea (DO NOT LET THE BLACK BOMB HIT YOUR LAND UNITS) on Day 1. Note: Max's artillery have one less range so... don't be surprised when you can't hit someone 3 spaces away. Anyway, what you want to do is keep your land units alive for the technique score. Meaning your want to block them from attacking most of your land units by closing off vulnerable sides of your artillery and Mech. With your copters, some WILL be hurt, so attack with half of them first and then joins the together (move two of the same units together which are hurt to combine them. Their HP will not exceed ten and any leftover HP will be converted to funds, joining renders them incapable of moving for the turn). With two or more 8+ HP Copters this mission should be cheesecake. Attack the heavy unit first and then go for the lighter ones. With your T-Copter and remaining Mech, load the mech on the T-Copter and start moving it across the sea towards the enemy HQ, so if you're having trouble on land, you can just capture their headquarters. If you do everything correctly, you should be able to rout the enemy the same turn you can finish the headquarters capture. Strategy by Banzo803. Map image by Tsuruya. |
