Full Name: Rick Terner. Army: Black Hole ![]() Age: 54 Height: 5'2 Bio: This short, stocky man is a former retired general of the Black Hole Army. He was a trusted underling of Sturm and usually his right hand (or whatever appendages Sturm has) man. He retired from Black Hole after an unfortunate accident with a meteor strike wiped out his most elite troops. No longer trusting his leader, he retreated from black hole territory. He lives out his retirement up in the desolate Alara Mountain range. Black Hole didn't even know that he was still alive until recently, when his villa was discovered during the Macro Land Invasion. Begrudgingly re-enlisted by his former commander, he now seeks to undermine Sturm's regime. He helped Hawke double cross Sturm, mainly to facilitate his revenge. Never too keen to mingle with the other black hole company, he despised the lower ranking Adder, Lash and Flak. He strongly disliked the politics and inner power struggles these COs presented to Black Hole. Tolerant of Hawke, he occasionally would devise new strategies with him after a skirmish on the field of battle. Description: An old, stocky man. He's bald on the top of his head, but still has a layer of black hair. Short and kind of podgy. He's a very sturdy man, and quite tough, even though he's approaching old age.. Having worked with Sturm for such a time, he's quite capable of absorbing shocks and taking damage, but old age is starting to slow him down a bit, and his combat prowess is slowing. He's known to be occasionally quirky, but usually well grounded in reason. He's fond of airlifting or ferrying his supplies to troops, because while it tends to make them more exposed to the enemy, he found it beneficial, after most of the troops manning the supply runs from his APC units went on strike due to the danger of working so closely with Sturm. His meteors raining down on the battle were deemed an occupational health and safety issue, and most of them transferred to airborne or naval troop divisions. In response, Rick started routing all his deployable supplies to his naval and airborne fleets, abandoning his ground based APC suppliers. Bloody Government...They gave him a whole bunch of paperwork too. He's also perfected the art of absorbing shockwaves in his troops. Being such an incredible necessity in his position to protect his troops from those bloody flaming rocks, he also discovered how to use the positioning of his troops to generate subtle shockwaves of his own, by exploiting weaknesses and faults in the nearby geography. Quote: "You better start trembling. I'm going to knock you off your feet." Cool Nights Interruptions![]() Rick's units are All 90/110. Additionally, Rick's APCs cannot resupply, however his Transport Copters can. His landers may also supply naval troops. ![]() ![]() ![]() - ShockwaveA shockwave eminates from all of Rick's units, in a pattern as follows: __X _XXX XXUXX _XXX __X Enemy Units one square away take 2HP damage. Units two squares away take 1HP damage. If the shockwaves overlap, the maximum damage taken is 2HP. Additionally, he gains +10% generic defence. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() - FaultlineIn the same pattern as before, enemy units around Rick's take damage. Instead, however, the damages taken are 4HP and 2HP. The maximum overlap damage is 4HP. Secondly, he gains +20% defence for all units. Quotes: "I can't believe that you'll be standing after I'm through!" "I'm shaking, Hahaha, I'm shaking." "Just try and keep your feet on the ground!" "I've caused the mightiest commanders in the world to tremble before me!" "Looks like you've gotten carried away." Victory Quote: "All will fall before me. It only takes time." Note: This CO's name is a joke. *Points towards earthquakes* S-Rank Rates: Rate #2 Terragent, May 4 2005, 09:34 PM Rick Name: 5/5. No change here! Bio/desc: 10/10. Nice additions, they work well. Quotes: 4/5. Same as before'd. Ability: 38/40. Perhaps a teensy bit overpowered in land/air and land/air/sea conditions, and marginally weak in land-only. Fine otherwise. CO Power: 18/20. Brilliant. It's still a little underpriced, IMO, but I can't think of any way to make it better. Super CO Power: 19/20. Near-perfect. Overall: 94/100 ![]() Congratulations! I have to say, I've been waiting a long time for you to start the CCO game, and you haven't disappointed. For your first 'proper' CCO, Rick is fantastic. Keep it up! |
