General Strategy: Quickly capture neutral base and tank spam while escorting
loaded APC. Kanbei’s deployment costs prevents use of this
walkthrough. Sturm has a quicker walkthrough that takes
advantage of his terrain movement advantage, but feel free to
use this guide.

Day 1:

– Build Infantry in both northern bases.
– Build APC in southern base.

Day 2:

– Move western Infantry 3W.
– Load remaining Infantry into APC, move Infantry 5E, and drop Infantry
east.
– Build Tank in southern base.

Day 3:

– Move western Infantry 3W.
– Begin capturing neutral base with eastern Infantry.
– Move APC 2E 1S.
– Move Tank 5E.
– Build Tank in southern base.

Day 4:

– Begin capturing neutral city with western Infantry.
– Finish capturing neutral base with eastern Infantry.
– Move APC 1E 2S.
– Move eastern Tank 2E 1S.
– Move remaining Tank 5E.

Day 5:

– Finish capturing neutral city with western Infantry.
– Load eastern Infantry into APC and move APC 1W 1S.
– Move eastern Tank 1E 2S.
– Move remaining Tank 2E 1S.
– Build Neotank in easternmost base.

Day 6:

– Begin capturing neutral city with western Infantry.
– Move APC 1S.
– Move southern Tank 3S. Attack enemy tank if present.
– Move Neotank 1E 2S.
– Move remaining Tank 1E 2S.
– Build Tank in easternmost base.

Day 7:

– Finish capturing neutral city with western Infantry.
– Save here.

From this point onward, enemy AI cannot be predicted consistently. By
experimenting with movement of your units, you can manipulate the AI to move
favorably. Following the guidelines below should help your 300-pt. S-rank.

Prioritize protecting the APC by minimizing access to the unit. You may use
it
to bait an enemy Tank or Anti-Air, reducing damage to your escort Tank and
saving your technique score.

Do NOT destroy any enemy Tank or Anti-Air units unless absolutely necessary,
such as saving the APC from destruction. The AI follows a build order and
strives to maintain unit production. If a Tank is destroyed, it will usually
build another Tank to compensate for its loss. This CANNOT happen.

Strive to drop the Infantry within range of the HQ on Day 8, Day 9 at the
latest. Normally, the best location for the drop is 1E 1N of the HQ, for an
enemy Artillery unit is usually built on the eastern base.

No more than 2 units should be lost.

The Neotank should be used to assist in defending the Infantry. Use it to
help
in the power score after its initial duty is done.

Generally, Adder builds an Artillery on Day 7 and Rockets on Day 8. If not,
restart from your save.

With the above strategy, finishing in 10 days is relatively simple. 11 Days
if your Infantry was dropped on Day 9.
